How Do I Sell My Scrap?
First time selling your scrap metal to AMR? Don’t worry, it’s easy. Simply follow the map and instructions below.
FERROUS SCRAP PROCESS (STICKS TO A MAGNET)
Enter AMR Fort Scott from 69 Highway.
Pull onto the scale for weigh in. Unload your scrap in the shred area and then go back to the scale to weigh out.
After exiting the scale enter the door marked Visitor Entrance and Payroom. This is where you will receive payment.
NON-FERROUS SCRAP PROCESS
Enter AMR Fort Scott from 69 Highway. Proceed to stop signs.
Stop at signs and wait until employee signals to drive into building.
Enter building and park your vehicle.
Receive your ticket then turn right between two buildings. Park by the ramp and enter the building.
Enter the office door marked Visitor Entrance and Payroom. This is where you will receive payment.
